The early days and weeks of life as a mom can be overwhelming and confusing. In addition to our new parent groups, appointments are available for consults with:
Pat Nielsen, RN, M.Ed., CLC, CD(DONA), CLC. (Registered Nurse, Certified Lactation Couselor, Certified Doula (DONA) and Certified Childbirth Educator.) Pat has 26 years experience working with expectant and new parents. She has been active in the Athens community for over 17 years and is an understanding, warm and knowledgeable resource.
Lucia Massey, BS, IBCLC, CD(DONA) - Internationally Board Certified Lactation Consultant, Certified Doula (DONA) and Hypnobirthing Instructor. Lucia has 30 years experience working with newborns and enjoys helping families navigate the newborn period.
Breastfeeding Support Services Rates
Initial Consultation: Member - $40. Non-Member - $50
History, before and after feeding weight, latch check & development of a breastfeeding plan.
Follow-Up Visit: Member - Free. Non-Member - $15
Assess progress; weight check, latch check and breastfeeding plan update.
Welcome Home Package: Member - $75. Non-Member $100
One in-home consultation and telephone follow-up support. History, latch check, information.
Deluxe Welcome Home Package: Member - $100. Non-Member - $150
One initial consult and two follow-up consults in your home.
Latch Check: Member - Free. Non-Member - $15.
Assess baby’s latch and assist with correction.
